There are many different reasons to become a Silpada Designs Independent Representative, and I would like to share my "Why" story with you.

My first career was in the retail industry as buyer and department manager. An endless-hour job with no holidays! After working this pace for several years, I decided to go back to school and become a computer programmer. Before I knew it, I was a troubleshooting programmer, data processing manager, systems operator and office manager. So I had gone from one hectic, high-stress job to another!

I decided to get out of the rat race and started selling goods online. Some days business was great, sometimes there were no sales at all. Trying to find the 'magic formula' for success, I found myself working harder & harder for longer & longer hours. Meanwhile, life was becoming less & less enjoyable. I felt like a hamster in an exercise wheel! I always prayed for God to help me find a winning formula. While researching items to sell, I kept seeing the Silpada name. I had no idea what it was - other than beautiful, stylish, high quality sterling silver jewelry - and I liked it all!

Then, one day while I was leaving the grocery store, I noticed a car with an advertisement in the back window. I just glanced at it and went on my way, loading my groceries and focusing on getting back home.
